An OEM tissue quote checklist helps you describe an order without needing a finished technical specification. A reference pack, the intended market and an estimated quantity are enough to begin the discussion. The useful part is showing which details you want to keep and which you are open to changing.
For example, a buyer may like the sheet size of an existing soft pack but need a different count and their own printed film. Send photographs of the pack and explain those differences instead of describing the project only as “custom facial tissue”.
OEM tissue quote checklist: enquiry details
| Item | Useful information |
|---|---|
| Product | Product family, intended use and a reference pack or photograph. Identify the features that matter to you. |
| Specification | Material preference, unfolded size, ply or layers, count and format. Leave undecided items clearly marked. |
| Packaging | Soft pack, box or roll pack; packs per bundle or carton; and any opening or dispensing requirements. |
| Branding | Own-brand or supplier-brand request, artwork status, languages, barcode data and the person approving the design. |
| Quantity | Estimated first-order quantity by variant. Add a reorder estimate if one is available. |
| Market | Destination country, sales channel, required claims and any product documents the buyer needs to review. |
| Delivery | Destination, preferred shipping basis, target planning window and sample requirements. |
Compare the same product basis
Two quotations are difficult to compare if one uses a different sheet size, count or carton configuration. Check the specification behind each price, not just the product name. State whether a count refers to finished tissues, individual layers, packs or cartons.
Keep the sample reference, pack configuration and quotation together. If a material, count or packaging choice changes, ask for the quotation to identify the revised basis.
What can remain open?
A first enquiry can include alternatives. Mark them as “To confirm” rather than treating them as approved requirements. Sample arrangements, MOQ and production timing depend on the selected configuration and need to be confirmed for the project.
